The power of the Compendium stems directly from the Collective Unconscious, drawing upon the latent spiritual energy stored in the Velvet Room. By registering a Persona through fusion or discovery, users unlock its signature skills and passive traits permanently. Signature capabilities include 'Summon,' which instantly calls forth a registered Persona to battle without consuming social links, and 'Recall,' allowing players to re-fuse specific Personas later by paying a fee. This system enables strategic flexibility, letting teams adapt to any enemy type regardless of current fusion options. Artifacts like the Compendium unlock new capabilities by acting as a vault for rare skills. When a Persona is registered, its unique skill set becomes available for transfer to other fusions.
